February 25, 2026 – Cusick Morgan Motorsports is set to officially begin a new chapter this weekend as the team makes its INDY NXT by Firestone debut at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. The event marks the opening race of the 2026 season and the official launch of Cusick Morgan Motorsports’ inaugural campaign in the highly competitive INDY NXT by Firestone championship.
The team will field entries for veteran Juan Manuel Correa and rookie Nicolas Stati, bringing a blend of experience and emerging talent to the Streets of St. Petersburg. Both drivers are eager to take on the tight and technical temporary street circuit, a layout that annually delivers one of the most challenging races on the calendar.

Correa enters the weekend targeting a strong start to the championship, while Stati begins his rookie INDY NXT season focused on steady progress and early points. Together, they aim to deliver a competitive debut for Cusick Morgan Motorsports.
“We’re incredibly excited to officially launch our INDY NXT program in St. Petersburg,” expressed Don Cusick and Billy Morgan in a joint statement. “This weekend represents a tremendous amount of preparation and hard work from everyone involved. We have two talented drivers, a dedicated crew, and partners who believe in our vision. Our goal this weekend is to execute cleanly, learn as much as possible, and position ourselves for success throughout the 2026 season.”
The Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, held on the 1.8-mile, 14-turn temporary circuit along the Florida waterfront, is known for its unforgiving concrete walls, fast straightaways, and limited room for error, the perfect proving ground for a new team looking to establish itself early in the season.
The weekend will follow a packed schedule, starting with a single practice session on Friday, leading into practice two and qualifying on Saturday. The green flag for the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will drop Sunday at 10:00 AM EST.
Fans can catch qualifying live on FS2 and the race live on FS1 as Cusick Morgan Motorsports looks to make its mark on the series. The full weekend schedule can be found here.
