CUSICK MORGAN MOTORSPORTS EYES STRONG RESULTS AT BARBER DOUBLEHEADER

Cusick Morgan Motorsports returns to action this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park, where the team will contest a doubleheader round of the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone championship. Riding a wave of momentum from the Arlington Grand Prix, where CMM earned their first top-five result of the season, Leeds, Alabama, provides the two-driver program an opportunity for podium results twice.

After showing strong pace through the opening rounds, the team heads to Alabama ready to convert that speed into results across two races. With a doubleheader weekend ahead, the focus is on execution and capitalizing on every opportunity.

The team is coming off a strong performance at the Grand Prix of Arlington, where Juan Manuel Correa delivered a fourth-place finish, marking the team’s best result of the season to date. The result highlighted the progress made early in the year and provides momentum heading into the weekend.

Drivers Juan Manuel Correa and Nicolas Stati will once again represent Cusick Morgan Motorsports, with both aiming to take another step forward as the series transitions from street circuits to a permanent road course.

Located just outside Birmingham, Barber Motorsports Park is a 2.3-mile road course that has been a staple on the INDY NXT calendar. Known for its smooth surface and flowing layout, the circuit presents a different challenge from the season’s opening street races.

“This weekend is a great opportunity for us to continue progressing as a team,” said Cusick Morgan Motorsports owners Don Cusick and Billy Morgan. “We’re very proud of the job both drivers have done to start the season. They’ve shown strong pace and composure, and that’s given us a solid foundation to build from. Barber presents a new challenge, but with two races, we’re focused on continuing that progress and coming away with strong results.”

Track activity begins Friday with practice, followed by qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday at 1PM EST. The weekend concludes with Race 2 on Sunday at 11AM EST.

Fans can catch practice and qualifying live on FS2, with both races broadcast live on FS1. All INDY NXT sessions will also be available for streaming on FOX One, the new platform carrying INDYCAR and INDY NXT coverage throughout the season.
