Cusick Morgan Motorsports heads south this weekend as the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone championship continues at Nashville Superspeedway. Following a weekend highlighted by Juan Manuel Correa’s fourth-place finish at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the team is eager to carry that momentum into the season’s next oval event.
Correa enters the weekend looking to build on one of his strongest performances of the season after charging through the field to secure a fourth-place finish in race two at Mid-Ohio. For rookie Nicolas Stati, the Music City Grand Prix marks a milestone in his debut INDY NXT campaign as he prepares to make his first career oval start after missing the series’ previous oval race at Worldwide Technology Raceway due to a prior commitment.
Nashville Superspeedway presents a unique challenge for the INDY NXT field. The 1.33-mile concrete oval will see INDY NXT drivers reach their highest speeds of the season as they race inches apart for 65 laps.
“We’re looking forward to getting down to Nashville,” explained Billy Morgan. “JM has been building momentum, and his fourth-place finish at Mid-Ohio was a great result for the team. This will also be an exciting weekend for Nicolas as he makes his first INDY NXT oval start, and we’re looking forward to seeing what both drivers can accomplish.”
Track activity begins Saturday with practice followed by qualifying. Round 13 of the INDY NXT by Firestone season will take the green flag Sunday at 1pm ET. Fans can catch practice and the race live on FS1, with qualifying on FS2. All INDY NXT sessions will also be available for streaming on FOX One, the new platform carrying INDYCAR and INDY NXT coverage throughout the season.
