Cusick Morgan Motorsports is proud to announce that Australian driver Nicolas Stati will compete in the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone season. Stati and Cusick Morgan Motorsports will make their series debuts in 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for both driver and team alike.
At just 16 years old, Stati is already a proven talent on the international stage. His young career has included competition in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship, Formula Regional Americas, GB3 Championship, F4 U.S. Championship, F4 U.A.E. Championship, and F4 Australian Championship among others. In 2024, the young Australian finished as Vice Champion in the F4 U.S. Championship, falling just 4.5 points short of the title. Additionally, Stati finished as Vice Champion in the F4 Australian Championship in the same year.
“I’m excited to make my INDY NXT by Firestone debut with Cusick Morgan Motorsports,” expressed Stati. “This is a big step in my career, and I believe the team and I can grow together as we take on this challenge for the first time. Nicolas Stati got his first taste of INDY NXT machinery this fall during the official driver evaluation test at Autobahn Country Club, where he logged laps and began acclimating to the car. He will compete in the full offseason test program with Cusick Morgan Motorsports, with his first official race coming on the Streets of St. Petersburg, as the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone season kicks off February 27–March 1.
